Application

Alexandrite lasers are widely used in medical cosmetology, mainly in the following aspects:

1. Selective photothermal effect
The laser energy is absorbed by specific pigments (such as melanin) or hemoglobin in the skin and converted into heat energy, thereby destroying the target tissue.
 
2. Stimulating collagen proliferation 
Long pulse lasers can penetrate deep into the dermis, stimulate fibroblast proliferation, and promote collagen production, thereby improving the elasticity and firmness of the skin.
 
3. Thermal effect
By controlling the pulse width and energy of the laser, the target tissue can be precisely heated to reduce damage to surrounding healthy tissues.
